Meet my Granddaughter

I realize this has nothing to do with scrapbooking, but I would like to introduce to you my Granddaughter who was born today, 12-18-12 around 5:40p.m. weighing in at 8lbs 15oz. Who could ask for anything more for Christmas? I know I can't.

I was born on December 23rd! It has it's benefits.

Dedication

This site is dedicated to my Mother who passed away July 15, 2006 from a botched surgery. My Mother was the most amazing woman, she loved us, her children, and my father with all she had. She may have only been 5 feet tall but in my eyes she was a giant who stood above them all. She was our Earth Angel and now she flies above us all as our Heavenly Guardian Angel. I miss her every minute of every day. And as the years roll on I haven't stopped missing her every minute of every day! Now that it's been over six years, I believe I miss her more today than I did yesterday.

Life and I have changed so drastically in the past 6 years, I feel dead inside most of the time without my Mother. She was such a fixture in my life and my siblings lives. There is such an emptiness in my heart that nothing can fill. However , my Grandchildren are the only ones who can actually make me feel alive. When they say "grandma" my heart melts and everything is right with the world, if only for a second. I'm just so sorry that "great grandma" never got to meet my grandchildren. They would have stole her heart, as all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren did.
